Upcycled Plexi Interior Display
A suspended interior display made from layered plexiglass ovals and ellipses, repurposed from a previous installation by swapping out colors and finishes. Each piece was refinished with a mix of paint and applied iridescent film to create shifting tones of violet, gold, and blue that reflect and catch light.
Color Conversion
Concept & Design
I adjusted all dimensions and spacing to suit the store’s ceiling height and sightlines, ensuring the installation complemented the surrounding mannequins.
Material Selection
Working with provided shapes from a prior display, I hand-painted and applied film overlays to refresh the palette and achieve a warm, reflective quality to draw attention to the elevated display.
Final Installation
I fabricated, refinished, and installed the entire display independently, assembling, hanging, and balancing each element by hand to create a cohesive, floating composition.
