A large hanging curtain installation made from thick rope and repurposed acrylic chimes, designed to subtly conceal the sale section while maintaining light flow and visual interest.
Rope It In
Concept & Design
Working from provided direction, I adapted the structure and proportions to effectively divide the space while aligning with the existing architecture and traffic flow.
Material Selection
Repurposed materials were used throughout, combining natural rope with bright acrylic accents to achieve a balance of texture, transparency, and color contrast.
Final Installation
I fabricated, assembled, and installed the curtain, attaching each rope and acrylic section by hand to ensure even spacing, secure suspension and smooth vertical alignment.
